I really liked the first book of the series. The Selection. The second book of the series The Elite was such a huge disappointment. It was pretty much a spin off from the first book. The Selection was about a girl who became a queen. The Elite however was the same thing but it had scenes that weren’t in the first book. The second book was boring and went back in time because in the first book America, (the protagonist) had already won the selection and has become queen. Whereas in the second book Elite she hadn’t won yet
